Sabbath Reflections

God calls us to Sabbath.  He rested on the seventh day of creation.  He ordained for us to "remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy."  Jesus said that He IS our Sabbath.  On occasions He withdrew to rest and He called His disciples to come away and rest after periods of intense ministry.  However you slice it, God values rest and rest is a part of a healthy life in Him.  This page will have links (mostly thoughts posted on Sundays) which I hope will lead you to find rest -- to seek rest -- to do the hard work of swimming upstream of culture to rest, be refreshed and to be still and know that He is God and He loves you completely.

You've Done it Unto Me
A Time to Breathe
Silence
Come to Me All Who Are Weary
Surely God Is In This Place
