God calls us to Sabbath. He rested on the seventh day of creation. He ordained for us to "remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy." Jesus said that He IS our Sabbath. On occasions He withdrew to rest and He called His disciples to come away and rest after periods of intense ministry. However you slice it, God values rest and rest is a part of a healthy life in Him.
