I am so glad you shared here. I always ...Krista ~
I am so glad you shared here. I always pray before I write, and I trust God to lead me and then to use my writing for someone if He will. I was a bit hesitant to be so exposed about my grief, but then I felt sure that I should share it when I prayed. I am so glad God used it as a balm for you. It is true that He gives us these special friendships and relationships to help us bridge to Him and He blesses them that way. He also has seasons where He allows the distance to be there so that we can lean on Him more and even exclusively. I will pray for you right now as you lean into the lonely places and find them not empty, but full of His presence.
~ PattyHeartsHomewardnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3345217407843497124.post-67546424434398794682014-02-06T16:44:24.577-08:002014-02-06T16:44:24.577-08:00Hi Patty! My best friend is also in a place where we aren't able to talk or email much at all. I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt. She is going back to school to finish her degree in ministry all while juggling a career and family. I know that God has amazing things in store for her. So, while she isn't as readily available as she once was, I need to draw near to the Father and allow him to fill the lonely places.

Thanks for sharing. This truly blessed me tonight :)Krista Spranklenoreply@blogger.com
